Over the last few months, a friend of mine and I have been doing a little drawing/design exercise where we start with a random shape and try and make something out of them.  Once the shape is established, you can turn in any which way to find something to make of it.  It has been very interesting and surprising what we each come up with sometimes.  Here are a few of them:

 While my friend has bowed out for now, I am continuing for a while to see what happens.

As I have had Victorian costume on my head, I did this today.  Kind of more grim than I had planned on, but I decided to just go with it:

A friend of mine and I are trying to do daily sketches for fun.  The goal for me is just to get something down quickly and not be too precious or worry about shading or color..

We had done this for a while in the past (back then it was once a week) but as these things go, we ran out of steam after a time.  Glad to be doing it again!
