bordello of blood!!
last night was another "hades in SF" costume drawing night, this time with the theme of "dracula and his women", once again taking place in an amazing victorian mansion. as last time, the models were great, the costumes were great, the music was great; overall had a fun time and a couple of decent drawings to boot. i had specially brought a red marker for the anticipated blood and was not disappointed! looking forward to the next one!

more studies
didn't i say a while back i was going to paint more? shrug...drawing just requires less set up i guess. plus i was enjoying drawing these costumes too much. it was also good rendering practice for me. i'm sometimes accused of being too loose, which is true. probably comes down to laziness on my part. here are but a few of the latest studies...

goth
occasionally i find interesting costumes in fashion's magazines and sketch them out..here are a couple i did last night. kinda freaky looking in a gene simmons sort of way i guess.
